When I see a bunch of skater kids riding RipSkates in my neighborhood, all I can think of is that they're up to no good. I see them ripping it all over the place; on sidewalks, in parking lots, even on the school playground!
The thing that irks me the most is that they're so cavalier about it. They'll rip it right in front of your face and not even think twice about it. They have no shame! Personally, I blame the parents. Kids need to be taught that it's one thing to rip it in the privacy of your own home. But in public? That's just disrespectful.
But they say, "It's a natural. It's good for them. It's just kids being kids." Baloney, I say. Next kid I see ripping it in front of my house is gettin' a good talkin' to. Oh sure, they'll giggle and snicker when I ask them to stop ripping it, but at least they'll know I mean business!
