The first part was easy. Steps One and Two were both “Buckle my shoe.” So yeah, two shoes, two buckles, bang bang, and I was done. No sweat.

The next two steps were a little vaguer, but I’m pretty sure I completed them accurately. My house has got quite a few doors in it, so I just knocked on all of them to be sure. It never hurts to go the extra mile, that’s what my parents always tell me.

With both Steps Five and Six, I began to see a pattern. It seems whoever wrote these up want me to do the same thing twice. That’s how I see it, anyway. So when it said “Pick up sticks,” I figured my Bendaroos 3D Building Sticks would work just fine. Yeah, I might be playing a little fast and loose with the meaning of “sticks,” I guess, but with a combined total of 1750 in the two 3D Activity Packs and the Mega Pack, I feel I did my picking up part well and properly.

Of course, then came the frustrating bit. Just as soon as I’ve picked them up, I gotta “lay them straight!” Twice! Can you believe it? I’d hoped it might change things up a bit and ask me to make cool 3-D sculptures by sticking them together or decorate my walls and windows with the durable, easy-to-use wax sticks, but no. I feel like I’ve been sitting here forever laying these things out. Stupid list.

I guess I shouldn’t complain. I’ve read ahead a little bit and, I gotta tell you, I have no idea where I’m going to get a big fat hen, let alone two of them.
