Perfect for our big boy!

Our son is above the 99th percentile in both height and weight so when I researched support seats I paid close attention to the reviews on fit. I found that most reviews said the Bumbo is snug, so I asked a friend of mine to try their Bumbo. At just four months old it was too tight on our son's legs and tummy. Several reviews said that the Prince Lionheart BebePOD was more spacious, and they were right. Our son sits comfortably in this seat, and is well supported. We purchased the Upgrade Tray which is an okay addition (it wiggles a bit at the connection and isn't very big). I knew I didn't want the Boost Plus because I didn't like that the toy attachment left grooves for food to get stuck. So we purchased a suction cup toy to attach to the Upgrade Tray. It works okay, but I wish the tray was bigger and held still.

My son fits in it, but the tray doesn't

I had to buy this because my son doesn't fit in the Bumbo, at 4 months and weighing 22 lbs. We were barely able to squeeze him in this one, but he fits it. I've used the Bumbo for my two older kids and here's my comparison: -The deep seat in the Bumbo chair seems to support baby better. In the BebePOD, the back is really low, so once my son was in it, he kept tilting to the side and had to rest his arm on top for support. -There are straps on the bebePOD that allows you to hook it up to a chair. The Bumbo doesn't have this. -The bebePOD is much easier to take baby in and out of. My first two babies were chunky but smaller than my third. I struggled getting their legs in and out of the Bumbo and had to finagle the opening for both of them. My son's legs easily come out of the bebePOD. -The shiny rubber on the bebePOD is much easier to clean than the porous rubber on the Bumbo. -The tray on the bebePOD is easier to remove than the Bumbo. Despite all the qualities the bebePOD has over the Bumbo, the biggest issue for me was the shallow seat compared to the Bumbo's deep seat. But that probably won't matter in a few weeks when he can support himself better. Update: I bought the tray that can attach to it and my son's thighs are too big for the tray to slide on. Bummer, no tray for him. I took off another star for that.
