With a harness rated to 65 pounds, the Alpha Elite™ Convertible Car Seat lets you keep your child safely in a harnessed seat for longer. It starts as a rear-facing infant car seat with a removable infant support that keeps babies snugly positioned. It also allows for longer use in the recommended rear-facing position: up to 40 pounds. Turn the seat around to use it as a forward-facing, harnessed car seat with an extended harness range of 65 pounds. Later, when your child is ready, you can transition the car seat into a belt-positioning booster for use up to 100 pounds.
