To Face Baby Out Towards the World: The “X” that the baby sits on should be spread to the hollows of the baby’s knees, and the middle tag section should be spread across baby’s chest and tummy area for support. This is more supportive to baby’s spine. Be sure baby’s upper body is leaning back against the wearer’s body and the baby’s bottom is in a seated position (knees higher than their bottom). Babies should be able to sit on their own, to do this hold safely.
