Hey, that was really nice of you to get your kids a subscription to the New York Times. But maybe you should give them something a little more… age appropriate? Check out this little collection of reading and listening materials and they won't go to bed crying about the latest op/ed on the gentrification of Brooklyn.
There was a time when stories were passed on verbally, when men of letters were rare, and when information was kept by a select few. Books destroyed that world forever! Do you really want to go back to it? Do your kids a favor and teach them how to love books when they're young. Otherwise, they'll be ruled over and lied to for the rest of their life.
