"Jake!" Michelle called from the living room. "Stop yelling THAT'S NOT TRUE! THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE! at your father! If I have to come out there and take your Star Wars Lightsaber Flashlight, I will!"

Tim raised a finger to his lips. "Join me, my son, and I will train you to be silent."

Jake shrugged. Even the Dark Side had some good points once in a while.

From the back room, Michelle considered her options. It was too late to try and convince her family the Star Wars Lightsaber Flashlights were a mistake. And, anyway, she'd been enjoying those WOOOSH sounds from time to time herself.

But, on the other hand, if her family still had Star Wars Lightsaber Flashlights themselves, she'd never be able to defeat them. Michelle knew her weakness, after all. At best, she was one of those Jedi who worked in the accounting department, or possibly reception. She could never spin some Darth Maul-style flashlight as fast as Tim, nor move a Yoda-style flashlight as agilely as her son and/or daughters.

But Michelle knew something even the fiercest Jedi warrior didn't. The power of the mind trick.

"Jake!" she yelled as she hid behind the door. "That's it! I've got a headache from all that noise! You bring those Star Wars Lightsaber Flashlights back here RIGHT NOW!"

She heard Jake sigh and turn off his Lightsaber Flashlight. Michelle prepared herself. If she timed her lunge just right when he walked in the door...
