Some cities need a playmate. Some cities need a protector. Only your child can decide what kind of city they'll run.

"Oh, hi, Jake," said Peter's Mom. "I figured that would be you. Have a good day in school today?"

"Yes, ma'am," Jake answered as he dropped his bag near the door. "Peter's downstairs, right?"

"Sure is. He said you guys had big plans."

Peter was already preparing the helipad when Jake ran down the stairs.

"You made it, Jake! Hurry up! Grab a plane!"

Jake grabbed one of the two airplanes from inside the first storage drawer.

"Chopper One to Jet A, Chopper One to Jet A. Do you read me, Jet A?"

"Jet A here, Chopper One. What's the situation?"

"Jet A, you gotta say over! Over!"

"You didn't say over!"

"Well, I'm saying it now! Over!"

"Fine, what's the situation, OVER?"

"The Mayor's train is moving towards Mount Spider-Man right now. We've got word that one of the cars might be a terrorist situation in progress."

"You didn't say over. Over."

"I did! I did say over!"

"No, you didn't, over!"

"Okay, whatever, we're just not saying over any more."

"I didn't want to say it in the first place!"

"Look, the mayor's in trouble, okay? Just help me save him!"

"What car is he in?"

"He's not in a car, he's in the train. He's in the middle piece, and he's got guards in the other two pieces. And that car on the bridge is the terrorist."

"Why don't we just shoot him then?"

"Because we don't know yet, we won't find out until he makes his move."

"Okay, that makes sense. Why don't we use the tram cars to block in all the normal cars, and force him to do something?"

"Yeah, like in football! Good idea, Jet A!"

"Chopper One, Chopper One! He's making his move!"

Jake grabbed the car and drove it towards the Mayor's train segment.

"I'm on it, Jet A! Brrrt! Brrrt! Pew pew pew!"

Peter flipped the terrorist's car back into the second storage drawer. Mission complete.

"The Mayor's calling, Jet A. He says we're invited to a snack banquet."

"Did your mom make us cookies?"

"Yeah, she said they should be ready in like five minutes. But we can't stay long. Because if we aren't flying patrol over Table City… who knows what could happen?"

Jake nodded in agreement. Being a dark knight was an incredible responsibility.
