Things are always in the last place you put them, unless some adorable sticky-fingered thief gets to them first.   

Things had been disappearing around the house lately. At first, it was only Michelle's things. Her hair brush. Her favorite tube of lipstick. Her Coldplay CD. When she asked Tim about it, he brushed it off and said she had probably just misplaced them. The kids simply shrugged and went about their business without an explanation. But when everyone else's stuff started to disappear, that's when they started taking it seriously.

"Hey, Michelle honey, have you seen my watch? I swear I put it on the night stand, and now I can't find it anywhere," said Tim.

As he tore through the living room removing every couch cushion, Jake yelled, "Moooom! I can't find my lunchbox!"

"Ok, which of you little brats is hiding my left shoe?" Olivia yelled from the hallway while brandishing the right one.

"Listen, guys," said Michelle. "I have no idea where your stuff is. I'm still looking for mine."

Just then, Ella came out of her room wearing one of her new Halo SleepSacks. Instead of taking it off so she was free to walk properly, she was hopping around like a bunny. As she did so, there were distinctive clanking noises coming from inside the super-soft material.

Everyone looked down at her at the same time. She was rubbing her sleepy eyes, and when she had finished, she looked alarmed to discover that everyone was staring at her.

"You little stinker!" said Michelle as she reached down and unzipped the bottom. When she did, all of the missing items fell out and onto the ground. Clearly aware that the jig was up, Ella tried to escape. But Tim scooped her up and she collapsed into a fit of giggles in his arms.
