Some of these titles bring back some good memories as a kid. You can never go wrong with Curious George. With there being 17 titles listed in each bundled, and the length being listed at over 2 hours, I assume most of these stories are pretty short, which may be good for kids with a short attention span.

I have viewed many of these and they are pretty good quality. Scholastic is a great company and stands behind their products.

For those that purchased the Scholastic Treasury of 90 Storybook Classics (aka Scholastic Treasury of 100 Storybook Classics) back on January 16th or 2nd (or perhaps earlier?), unless these are somehow different, the Purple Crayon / Corduroy / Snow Day Bundle is completely redundant (all 3 DVDs contained in the Treasury of 90).

The Curious George / Red Riding Hood / Giggle Giggle Quack bundle is redundant only for the Curious George Rides a Bike DVD which contains
* Curious George Rides a Bike
* The Great White Man-Eating Shark
* Flossie and the Fox
* Happy Lion
* Cat and Canary

So you might want to get that one for Red Riding Hood and Giggle Giggle Quack.

tl;dr: If you bought the previous Scholastic Treasury of 90, do not buy the Purple Crayon bundle - you already have those.

Well, I am old. I RENTED Scholastic DVD's for my youngest when she was around 5. My two older kids always ended up watching them too. The animation is simple. However, the bright color and story really pulls them in. Basically, it is like having the story read to them. If I had little kids, I would buy this.

Does anyone know which bundle is better for kids ages 2-4? I'm not sure if one is targeted toward younger kids and the other for older kids?

Do these DVDs have a Spanish language track? I found a similar set of Scholastic storybooks on DVD that had English and Spanish tracks and it was a lot of fun. On Amazon.com's page, it shows most of these Scholastic storybooks as having only an English track. Thanks!

The Curious George & Giggle Giggle Quack have one story each with a Spanish language option. The rest do not. So, not really.

As a media specialist/library teacher, I would recommend the Purple Crayon / Corduroy / Snow Day Bundle. The stories in there are shorter with simpler story lines.

Thanks for the recommendation.
