I didn't purchase the set from here, but I own the Spanish complete set. It was like $200 and includes the same 6 disks in this set. It got me an A in college Spanish I without ever opening my textbook. I wish they had a set for grammar, which we are working on in Spanish II. My 7 and 9 year old's can speak basic Spanish now, and we have small Spanish conversations.

I find it important to at least know the basics of another language, as it is required for college and to get in most doctorate programs. Research shows that bilingual people are more intelligent in all other areas of studies as learning a second language taps into some part of the brain most of us rarely use.

I like this set for learning basics. I have tried other "adult" sets, but this is preferred (IMO) for basic Spanish skills. I was able to have my children learn alongside me, with ease, which was great.

Overall I recommend.
