They look warm and cozy as fall weather has already started to give us chilly nights. My one concern is if these are intended as girls shoes or if they are considered generic style. Anyone bought these for a boy? What color?

I wondered the same thing.. I looked at the Dawgs website and they show the blue ones for boys.

They are generic. I bought my girls and my son some (non-lined) at the beginning of summer. My girls had pink and my son had dark blue/lime green. They worked for everyone. After my girls get home from school and they tell me what color they want, I'm getting them and my son some of these.

Anybody know how they compare to Crocs?

Comparable quality to Crocs. Just a word or warning. My 4 yo boy wore them on a mulch filled playground. I cannot get all the little pieces of much out of the lining. It's a particular fuzzy fleece.
