Hmm, so the topographical map is clear/see through and the political one is blue/opaque?

Dang, I like the look of the see through one, but I would prefer the political info over topography.

The Hugg-A-Planet looks like it would be fun to use for a rousing game of "hot potato"

Hmm, the adorable child with the Hugg-a-Planet doesn't come with the product, but it doesn't say the same for the fellow in the black shirt and jeans. Worrisome...

Anyway, I'm glad the Hugg-a-Planet is machine-washable. Most companies don't care that parents already have to hand-wash every single stuffed animal/fuzzy toy.

Is the clear inflatable version cool for the pool? Durability-wise?

I'm picturing some great social studies games that could be played in the classroom or gym.

Perfect gift for our 'school' visits with Grand Circle Travel/Overseas Adventure Travel tours, as an educational tool for the students. Deflated they'll be lightweight and easy to pack in my suitcase. I'll use them for travel to Italy (2013), Africa (2014) and Bali (2015).

Hugg-a-Planets are very durable. I still have mine from when I was a kid, complete with East/West Germany, Czechoslovakia and the USSR.
