Yard darts using the kids as targets.
Kick ball. My neighbor had the best yard for it. All the kids would show up and play. Then our moms would yell and yell for us to come home as it got dark.

we also invented a game called trips. basically, like 5 or 6 kids running the yard, kicking at each others feet, trying to "trip" the other ones. so much fun lol
