Bought one for my 2 year old grandson for Easter @ $29.00!!

He and his parents arrived this weekend to spend a few days and nights - the night light came with all of the other tons of stuff a two year old seems to need for a two day visit.

He loves it! Will not settle in for the night without it.

Happy gramma here...(happy kid)

We bought one of these for our son at a clearance after christmas. I think we paid $9.99 for it at Kohls. My son now refuses to sleep with out it in his bed. This has also been really helpful for his counting, we try to count as many stars as possible before he goes to sleep.

I picked one up for the granddaughter in January - also at Kohl's - for around $13. This isn't such a good price....of course, it IS higher today at parent company Amazon, and maybe that's all that matters...

Twinkle twinkle on your ceiling,
Simulated camping feeling.
Little stars, up above,
buy this trinket, for kids you love.
Twinkle twinkle silly woot,
I must rhyme you now with boot.

We have the turtle version of this and my daughter LOVES it! She's never had any issues sleeping and it helps to soothe her when we go on vacation or she's sleeping somewhere new. Now, with baby number 2 on the way, my sister has bought a second one for him so both kids will have one.

I have to join the other voices, my toddler loves the lady bug version. He was having issues getting to sleep, and kept on asking for a flashlight to keep in his bed. We got this because it turns off after a while, and he loves it. We've had it for about 6 months with no issues. The batteries last a good 4 to 5 months if you're using it every night. It's hard to get perfect placement in a room, but my toddler doesn't know the difference. We just put the thing where it's convenient and hope he doesn't get wise to our laziness.

anyone know how this compares to dream lites? both my kids have dream lites and i'm wondering if this is a good alternative in case theirs break (which happens with most of these overpriced night lights)

I just keep buying more and more crap...
