Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

Mud pies! Literally! Including all of the little crappy crap that fell off the shingles back in the day (1970's).

A box of Smith Brothers licorice or cherry flavored cough drops. They cost a nickel, waaaay back then.

Apparently I ate a screw once when I was very young (too young to remember.)

Paper. Gross, but true. Only for a while when I was a kid. While paper is cheaper, I actually prefer food these days...

Grass. That is, actual lawn, not the wacky tobaccy kind.

It's technically food, but I used to eat flour. I don't know why, I've tried it as an adult and didn't see the appeal. At least I'm not on My Strange Addiction or something like that.

I used to eat Milk Bone dog biscuits because my Crazy Aunt Barbara told me that if I did, that puppies would come out of my bellybutton.....and I really wanted a puppy!!!

My mom had a coffee can full of buttons. Well...it started full. Then they started disappearing. Apparently they were delicious.

I have no idea what I'm doing.

Apparently I loved cat food as a toddler....so much so they had to feed them on a shelf to keep me away...luckily the dry stuff not the wet food.

Used to eat the dogs milk bones. She would actually find me whenever someone gave her one and bring it to me to share. It was rad.

I had pica as a kid. I ate crayons, candles, cheese wax, string, yarn, glue, plastic or paper candy wrappers, gum, sunflower seed shells, random plastic bits, lollipop sticks, kleenex, school paper, non-corrugated cardboard, pretty much any kind of paper. Most of what I ate was paper. I was such a nervous little person.

All the above crazy things people ate make me feel better. Hope you don't mind me butting in, 'cause I don't remember what crazy stuff I ate when I was young, but my 16 month old son ate a dead fly. I flew to his rescue, but it was too late. When he was about 10 months old, my older son actually ate, hate to say it, but his own poo. It was extremely hot one night, and we don't have air conditioning, so we put him in his crib with just his diaper since he never poos at night, but the next morning!!! Oh, horror of all horrors. It's actually a family secret, but I am anonymous here, hopefully.
