Both my kids were nuts for these things from ages 2ish to 7.

I highly recommend them. There's something about the velcro fasteners that gives the items that *shnick* feel of really chopping that had them hooked.

Highly recommended.

This food is hard and dry as cardboard. I do not recommend.

Check out these comments from when this was sold back in October.

You know, sometimes men have kids and speak about them too.

Both my kids are boys too

Better? It's always a SWAG on pronouns around here.

Tastes like sawdust...

Actually, my kids have all three sets and they are pretty durable. Their favorite is the birthday cake, without a doubt.

If I had a complaint, it's that there are no lids to the boxes. It's nice to be able to put something away without worrying about pieces spilling everywhere...

Ha, I was worried I was going to have to prove it.

as noted above, last sale was October. Here was my comment then:

or you can go to the product page which has the video too.

I don't have the time to link all of the sets, but I think you get the idea.

good night

$49.99 has been the price the last several woots.

Pretty good price. These sets usually sell for $14.99 each at our local discount store, and not always in perfect, giftable condition.

I have a couple sets stocked up for 1st - 3rd bdays and they're always a hit.

Amazon has these on sale right now for $15-$17 each. They are normally $20 a pop. With Amazon's sale, they're still $64.43 for all 4, plus any applicable shipping (if you're not a Prime member). You still save about $10 going with this deal, even with shipping.

On a different note, my cousin's kids have these and they are so much fun! My daughter really enjoyed playing with these when she was about a year old, and I didn't have to worry about her choking if she put them in her mouth. The small pieces were small, but not so small that she would choke on them. I've always wanted to get her some, but because of the cost, I've always hesitated. Definitely will be seriously discussing this with the husband for birthday presents this year!

The cookies are slice and bake and "come in a tube just like at the grocery store"? Seriously? So THAT'S where cookies come from! You'd never mix them up and bake them yourself at home...they just come in a tube. *sigh*

This is an excellent product and lasts a long time. And it's a good deal if you are buying "off the rack". But places like TJMaxx and Marshall's often have these exact sets in stock for 7.99. I think the deal could be better.

This is such a good deal. My older kids (4, 8) get a ridiculous amount of play out of them, and I don't mind when the baby ends up gnawing on a piece. By the way, while some may sigh at the fact that the cookies come in a tube rather than - I don't know, including a wooden bag of sugar and a wooden bottle of vanilla? - but the tube is perfect for storage, it's my favorite for ease of cleanup.

Darn... If only the TAXSUCKS code still worked. After shipping and tax, you only save $4.50 over Amazon. Just isn't worth it to me.
