I got Chuck for my three year old nephew and he loved it. Yes, if you want a quiet toy for a kid, this isn't it. But, they do have fun with it and we haven't had any problems with it. Highly recommend.
I've had both. Chuck didn't get much play, but my now 4 year old still plays with the CAT. He loves to put it together and take it apart.
