I have one of these that I got the last time it was offered on here. I would like to know if I can return it for a refund. The power button is never consistant and the battery life is pretty much non-existant.

Thanks~ I ordered it a month ago today.

I purchased one of these the last time it was on sale. This is the first baby monitor that I've been completely happy with (out of 4 that we have used). All the previous models either had some sort of hiss or other background noise which was annoying when sleeping, or (in one case) it was just too quiet. This one is completely silent except when there is something to hear. I can't comment on battery life as we keep ours plugged in constantly.

Does anyone know what range is allowed from the base to the unit in the other room?

I have had the transmitter in the back upstairs bedroom and the receiver with me at the mailbox in the front yard without losing reception.

I put one of these in my kid's room, but I don't think he appreciated it. When I went in there the other day, he had swapped the two units and set up a mommy/daddy monitor. Kinda creepy.
