I need a present for my son. I choo-choo-choose you Thomas Crane and Cargo set.

Picked this set up for my little one earlier in the year ($50 from TrU I think), so this is a pretty good deal. It's typically sturdy stuff, no worries there. However, it should come with a warning that it'll get kids wanting more and more Thomas stuff

It's less pieces, so easier to assemble/repair, which is good. However, since the join is in the middle, excessive pressure (heavy-handed child pushing down on a train, for example) can lead to the bridge collapsing... but this is easily encorporated into the play

Is this track the same width with thomas?

ordered the Big Wheel yesterday and paid for regular shipping, it came today..
Might be worth the chance if you want to try and get something before Christmas, not guaranteed of course

Everybody knows railroad track is standardized the world over! But to answer your question all the wooden stuff is the same size.
