That's sad!! My son's 3, and LOVES Santa now, but the 1st time he cried. I think they all do. 1-2, cry. 3+, love to tell them what they want for Christmas!

It was me that cried. Got the photo to prove it.

He was a little over a year old & cried as soon as he laid eyes on him. I was really wanting a picture, but I wasn't going to terrify him for no reason. I can totally understand why some kids are scared of Santa.

My 1-year-old is sitting on Santa's lap for the first time today at daycare. So I will find out tonight!

Stared him down, and petted his beard then deemed him "Quite fluuurfys!"

I ruined the belief in Santa for my child when he was young.

I don't have kids but my niece was about 6 months and she just had a "what the heck?" look on her face and then tried to rip the gold button off his jacket.
