The whole being 19 and not having any kids really puts a kink in doing anything with them.
I look at it like this... If i can get my kids to enjoy playing card games it's less i have to spend on other entertainment.
I play the classics with my nephew and nieces (none of my own). They're entering their teens now, so I guess it's time to "teach" them Poker. :-D
