I bought a couple of the Disney padded books sets, and they are actually surprisingly good. The build quality is great, and the illustrations are great. The stories are shorter (naturally) than the full movie/book, but the editors skillfully compress them so you really do get the whole story. Considering how much other non-paperback books cost, I am quite pleased with the deal, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
