lol, me too. :P I should have said, "A specific set meal on a specific set day." As highlighted in the poll.

My wife's family always had specific meal on specific days. That would have bored me to tears.

Pizza night, followed by pasta night.

Pizza night was when I had to work late, pasta night was when they had to cook.

Mac and Cheese Monday

Out of those, certainly breakfast. Eggs and pancakes are big winners.

Pizza. Always with the pizza. And then they have this crazy thing where the one and only pizza they will deign to consume keeps changing, so now I just give them their own lump of dough and they make their own dinner (with help with the 450° oven, obviously).

Taco Tuesday is the best. Glad to see it up there. My other favorite days are

we do Italian food on Fridays, but Sushi Sunday is far and away the kids' favorite. I have to flog them about the head and neck to get them to eat broccoli, but they love smoked eel... go friggin figure.

Yeah, mac & cheese. Ask my 2 1/2 year old what she wants to eat and that will be the answer 90% of the time. She won't always eat it after asking for it though.

Well, I don't serve a specific meal on a specific day *yawn* but we do have spaghetti every week and my little whipper snappers love that! They also love macaroni and tuna... I like to call it, Macatuni. Yes, I know. It's brilliant.

My 3 year old looks forward to "fruits and veggies only" night. Hey, not every kid aspires to be one of the multitudes of slobs wheeling around Walmart asking people to reach for the Doritos bag for him :-)

My children would eat nothing but watermelon for dinner every night if I let them. But since I don't, spaghetti night is head and shoulders above all else.

What about home made chicken and noodle on a cold sunday afternoon. Come on Pazuzues, vote for this.
