Cocoa Puffs. So much we named our dog after them (not that we would eat her with milk).

I'm Koo-Koo for Cocoa Puffs...........................but we don't buy them. My boys would eat them on me. They get Yellow Box Cheerios or raisin bran!!

I'm diabetic, so eating pure sugar cereals like most of these are stupid for me. Give me oatmeal.

Reese's Puffs

I always considered Frosted Flakes as a grown up cereal. I guess I never really thought about the giant cartoon tiger on the box...

Raisin Nut Bran (If that can be considered a "kids'" cereal). If not: Marshmallow Fruit Loops.

What defines overly sugared cereal as "kids' breakfast cereal?"

None of those three words should be applied to this stuff.

It's apparent our difficulties with sugar-laden diets in the US start at a very young age if our own parents push stuff that can only possibly qualify as an afternoon snack off as the first meal of the day.

Now it would be Honey Nut Cheerios. As a kid, my favorite was Cookie Crisp. What kid wouldn't want to eat cookies for breakfast?

Nope. Peanut Butter Crunch is all peanut butter. Reese's Puffs is peanut butter and chocolate. Normally I'd say anything with chocolate is better, but not in this case. Peanut Butter Crunch all the way.

Kix, of course. Kid tested; Mother approved.

I don't classify Cheerios as a kids cereal either.

Another vote for cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs here. I eat one bowl every 10 years or so. Cheerios I eat semi-regularly.

I look forward to Halloween every year just so I can get me some Booberry cereal.

Agreed. However, as a child I was forced to eat Wheaties, which sog as soon as the milk is taken from the fridge. I made up for it by loading it with a layer of sugar when mom wasn't looking.

I'm pretty sure anything with "Bran" in the title is not considered a "kids" cereal which is convenient because it means I don't have to share my Raisin Bran Crunch with any of my little monsters. ;)
