While AFK today, I overheard a conversation at a restaurant. Some oilfield workers were talking, and one was giving advice to another. He said to beware someone who tries too hard to be your BEST friend. He said it's okay to try to be your friend, but the guy who tries to be your best friend is probably trouble.

The more I thought about what he said, the more I liked it.

I asked the same question. Seems her car broke down and it was expensive.

I used to live in Burien back in the early 70's. It was a great place to be a kid. We lived on a two block road that was at the end of another road. Wonderful memories.

While AFK this morning, I learned that my dog likes to eat pine needles.

While AFK over the weekend, I learned you can still be disappointed, even when you didn't know you had expectations in the first place.
