Are you going to stand up for justice and decency with a bunch of toy race cars? Of course not! When you're crusading for a better world, you need to turn to the bravest of the brave… the knights! And maybe a dragon for back up. He could be a good dragon. Totally up to you. Schleich official site
Back in my day, Joust was an arcade game... Who's ready to joust?
These look like the figures Harry Potter played with in his room under the staircase.
I have a bunch of these purchased during after Christmas sales at Sam's Club. Very detailed, but not very pose-able, so limited play value. More for display than anything, really. Plus, the spears and swords break surprisingly easily considering they are very flexible plastic. Good value at $20 for a set of six, not so much @10+ each. Also, THIS is the official site, that other one is just another reseller.

Thanks for the link. I've passed it on to the buyer.
These are pretty much the same price on Amazon. If you've got price, Amazon wins after you add 5 bucks to ship them. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=schleich+red+dragon

Off My Gangplank! - I LOVED that game! I'm hearing the sounds now - the birds coming up, running, squeaking/squealing to a stop, picking up an egg, the bad guys screeching....

Limited play value? Imagination is where it's at. Are you old enough to remember M.U.S.C.L.E.? they didn't move and they were the must have toy when I was around eight or nine.

But if you unlocked free shipping here on woot, woot wins - for the figurines at least. Unfortunately, woot is MUCH more expensive if you want the castle. The castle is only $122.13 on Amazon - at the moment at least...

Yeah, but these are pre-posed in action. I guess they are equivalent to the green army men, just too detailed and expensive to line up and take pot shots at with a BB gun.
The head to head 2 player pinball game is quite good too.
Go to JoAnn or Michael's with one of their 40 or 50% off coupon and pick one up for the same price (or less; no shipping).
Oh, I have several of these. I love Schleich products even though I can't figure out how to pronounce the name. The details are exquisite. I'd totally buy several knights to go with the ones I have except I'm on a tight mostly broke grad student budget right now.
The castle has been under $125 on amazon for at least two months, because I added it to my wish list a while ago and bought it for $122 last week. Many of the figures are good prices--not if you're planning to buy just one, but for more than one, you break even with amazon and for more than two you come out ahead. I just went ahead and spent $68 on them here on woot. We have a lot of these figures and my son plays rough with them. They hold up well.

wait your local JoAnn and Michael's carry Schleich? Wave The Flag! why don't the ones by me carry them
Howdy all! Seems Amazon played a dirty trick on us and lowered their price after we set ours a few days ago. Sooooooo, what does this mean? Yep, we lowered our price so you'll be happy knights and not joust us out of the Internets. Go forth and click. Ye shall see the new lower price the King of Woot has bestowed upon you ($109). PS: The next time someone says that Amazon dictates every poop we take, will you please remember this and stick up for us? Thanks.
OH MY GOD! I totally forgot about those. I had a bunch when I was a kid too.

And there were POGs... Let's not delve into the evil underbelly of children's toy marketing...

@safyrejet I think its just pronounced "Shh-like". Atleast, I went to school with someone with the last name Schleich and thats how they pronounced it. These are a really neat toy with a high level of detail but are somewhat fragile. I agree with others here that they're probably more for display than play but just because parts easily break.
I love this Castle. $160 was not good. $109 is better. But Meijer has it until 9/28 at 104.99, and their castle set comes with 3 lion (blue) figures and 3 flour de lis (red) figures of the $4 each variety. Come on woot... get in the game, toss in some knights (or the impossible to find ladders and stairs)!
