No matter how many times I look at this thing, I can't help but see the head mounted on the front as some poor Smurf that has become the victim of a child taxidermist.

$19.90 in store (not web purchase) in Chicago:
Not much out there:

http://www.cookbrothers.com/results3.cfm?MinorGroupDesc=RIDE%20ONS&SeqNo=22

Two pictures of the box:

Product website doesn't have much either:
http://www.amloid.com/the-smurfs.shtml

but contact info in case is there
http://www.amloid.com/contact-us.shtml

and their customer service form:
http://www.amloid.com/customer-support.shtml

Amazon misspells the name: $24.99 vs. $14.99 here. Still can't find any reviews yet.

You know, I am in for one of these "big wheel" trikes for my daughters upcoming birthday, but where is the back piece for this thing? There is usually a piece behind the seat, usually adjustable so the tot does not fall off.

So I cannot purchase this.

Calling it "my first" implies that there will be a second. Um, I don't think so.

I had one similar to this when I was young (early-mid 80's) but it was the big wheel style. And the head on the front was much bigger. If this was that style I think I would be in for one!
