I don't have children, but dinosaurs were always my favorite when I was young. And, to some extent, still are. :P

Kid B - Manatee

My twins are 2 and 1/2 years old. One loves tigers. The other loves a fictional animal from a northern Wisconsin town (Rhinelander) called a Hodag. She knows it's not real, and she knows it's superior to anything she's seen in a zoo. Interested? See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hodag By the way, I'm from Texas, not Wisconsin. Ditto on the dinosaurs. Middle daughter, at 7 years old, decided she's going to be a paleontologist.

My kiddo is all about the monkey...personally I like the Cougar (oh wait, maybe I am the cougar...I get confused)

My son loves cows....he went through a bog cow phase around the time he turned 3.

i don't have a kid of my own, but I endorse both monkeys and dinosaurs. I have a nephew, he has a lot of monkey stuff and requires more.

When my son was little (18 years old now) he loved 2 animals. Dinosaurs & wolves. We lived in NC & visited my brother in NYC. We went to the Bronx Zoo & I swear if I'd let him, he would had looked at the wolves & nothing else. All those cool animals & he was fascinated over the dogs. And we've always had a dog. Go figure.
