Seems like the school year is off to a start, and I'm sure some of your little ones are experiencing their first days of Kindergarten.

So how did it go? Were they so excited and they just couldn't hide it? Were they a little apprehensive? Completely freaked out?

Growing up is hard, sometimes more for the parent than the kid! So how did you take it? Sad? Excited? Proud? All of the above?

We want to hear all your First Day of School stories. What did they wear? Who's on their lunchbox? How long did you cry?

Spill it, Sister (or Brother!).

Our son's been in school(daycare) since he was 2 so he is a veteran. No crying, he was actually happy about going to a new school(VPK).

son had seperation anxiety since birth - to the point where we considered professional help - this is his third year in preschool/prek/Kindergarden and for the first time no tears... So there is hope! He sais school is fun but would rather stay home - the other kids are huge - what are they feeding kids these days? He hasked the kids if they wanted to be friends and they answered no - he found that strange (and my heart broke a little) - one picked on him because of smaller size (this makes me mad )-the teacher told him to hurry with eating his snack otherwise he wouldn't get to go outside ( wow) I would never admit it to my child but I don't like this kindergarden thing at all ;o)
