On the Go with Infantino

Babies are hard, aren't they? You put them down and say "Come!" and they don't they just lie there and stare at you. How rude! It's either buy a carrier or just go with a golden retriever.

Does anyone know if the shopping cart cover fits those giant red Target shopping carts? Seems like carts keep getting bigger but the cute little fluffy covers just aren't keeping up.

That's a good question! I've thrown a little light at it to hopefully get you an answer soon!

I'm just hanging out, really.

They don't, the Infantino carrier we have just barely fits Walmart carts, and it's the only store that we've found that it fits.

My Eddie Bauer one fits the target cart.

Car seat safety geek alert...

Aftermarket car seat accessories are not considered safe. The material of the car seat covers that comes with the seat is firesafe. Aftermarket covers might not be. Also, the covers can't been tested in crash tests to determine if they might cause a child to slip out of the seat easier during the extreme forces experienced in an accident.

Additionally, toys that attach to car seats or that are placed in their vicinity (including mirrors) can become projectiles and can do severe damage when they hit a child during an accident. Nothing should be attached to a car seat that did not come from the manufacturer.

Was going to buy the Car Seat Buddies and went to Amazon to check reviews - turns out they're $10 there, so with my Prime account it makes significantly more sense to get it $3 cheaper and shipped faster that way.

My Eddie Bauer one (that I bought at Target) does not. :/ Maybe mine is older. The quest continues...

anyone know how well this works with fat grammas? they're always shown with skinny models, and i'm a fat gramma who needs longer straps on a baby sling.

I have one of these mei tai carriers and I can tell you the straps are LONG. Neither my husband nor I are model skinny and we always had lots of extra strap length that we had to deal with (meaning getting creative about where to store the excess). The ability to adjust the straps to a wide range of adult body styles is one of the things that makes this carrier really nice in my opinion.

The travel bed looks like a kid would outgrow that pretty fast. Has anyone had any experience with it? How big is it?

Absolutely! In addition the use of aftermarket products voids your car seat warranty.
