Poll: It’s time to donate those baby clothes to Goodwill when:
  • 31.3% - You start to consider cutting the feet off the footie pajamas. 169
  • 34.6% - Your child bares more midriff than Britney Spears circa 2001. 187
  • 4.4% - That particular trend is over. Tutus were SO last season. 24
  • 29.6% - They’re so tattered or stained that your kid looks homeless. 160

Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

Never, they hold too many memories. Save them for grandkids.

Never. I donated all of my daughters and my clothes to a Womens Shelter. Goodwill sells the things you donate. Most Womens shelters use them for the residents and their kids.

The Goodwill stores in South Florida only seem to want donations of new, unused clothes for resale. Even the "lightly used" stuff we tried to donate were turned down. Won't do that any more. The women's shelters seem to care more.

What about "They've piled up as high as the ceiling and take up an entire room of their own...why do kids have to grow so darn fast?"

I've never donated to Goodwill before. The nearest one is 30 minutes away. I donate my daughter's outgrown clothes to St Vincent de Paul since there is one in my town.

The nearest womens shelter is 30 minutes away as well, but that is a good idea for people looking to donate who live near to one.

If an item is trashed beyond the point where it's usable, trash it. Too many people treat charities like a garbage can.
