Mine are homeschooled
My grand daughter is starting middle school. She is excited and looking forward to her own locker, changing classes with different teachers per subject. Her mom and I are hating the thought of her just growing up too quickly, crap on the bus that she will hear and see, tween emotions good and bad, being exposed to bullying, etc. UGH

Junior high is probably the low point for how kids treat each other before they start to learn real empathy in high school. Best of luck.
