Fantastic deal for a great quality set. I bought some similar sets in Korea and have been happy with them for years.

I love Lock & Lock and think they are great containers to avoid spills in the lunch bag. But I'm not sure what you're going to fit in those little dividers. I don't even think baby carrots would fit in there.

And there is no room for a drink. Maybe they could have put a stretchy cargo net thing on the side or something. Maybe this is supposed to go in the backpack, and the drink fits in the backpack somehow. Sorry -- I don't see that happening. Too much already going on in the backpack.

Welcome Back to School week on Woot. Do you or your kids take your lunch? I think this would have worked great for my son when he was in K-12 as he always took his lunch. He hated waiting in lunch lines.

These are great for bento type lunches for kids! Probably only need two boxes a day for lunch and snacks so you can have room for a few juice boxes. I already have a ton of lock and lock boxes, or I would be in for these!

Looks great, would love to buy one but I just get a server error at checkout.

Hey, forget using this lunch box for the kids' lunch. I can use this for my own packed lunch. Keeping the ingredients separate for my salad keeps it fresher. One of the containers can hold my mixed greens, and the compartments in the other container can hold the protein, tomatoes, and other toppings.

Sorry about that. Go ahead and try again, it just worked for me. Which color did you order?

Does anyone know how many dividers this comes with? Trying to figure out if I can use this to store 4 separate baby foods for each of these lunch boxes or is there only 1 box with dividers and 2 without...

If you look at the additional photos, it looks like it comes with 2 dividers.

With tax and shipping, it's roughly the same price as on amazon (assuming free shipping). Woot is offering different colors than what is available through amazon from what I can tell.

I was wondering about the dividers too. The photos do show 2 dividers, but the specs make no mention of them:

In the Box:

Lock & Lock Square Lunch Box 3-Piece Set includes:

(3) Square Food Containers
(1) Insulated Square Lunch Bag
Choose Blue or Pink

This is a great idea! I always took salads when I was still working in an office (at home now w/ kid) and it was a pain to pack a salad that didn't end up somehow compromised by lunchtime. Also would be good for wraps or tacos, anything where you want to keep ingredients separated. I think in for one. My kid doesn't need one yet, just in Kindy and comes home for lunchtime.

I can also use this to pack my lunch for our rafting trips. The lock-n-lock keeps things pretty well protected from being crushed (biggest hazzard).

The little compartments are good for yogurt or dipping sauces. With the lock & lock they won't spill out either so you can pack something that your little picky eater will only eat if dipped in ranch or ketchup. I can't solve the drink issues as mine grabs a chocolate milk at school.

Thanks for this website! Some of the recipes are easy enough for me to try. I also found the information on bento basics very interesting:

totally off topic - but google Mason Jar salads.
A great way to premake salads that don't get soggy.

I want to buy a set for myself and bring some food and fruits to office everyday. my Lunch box is old and quite dirty now, this may be the ideal replacement.

I bought the rectangular one for work a while back, since I usually eat both lunch and dinner at the office. It's fantastic! I've never had any problems with leaks or spills. Even bringing two meals, I usually only use two of the containers, so soda, fruit, yogurt, or other snacks fit easily on top. Definitely a good buy!

Not to ruin the mood, but glad these containers don't have pictures. The last blue and pink sets for kids that had pictures on the glass containers were ok. The pictures wiped off after a first washing. Hand washing. Go figure.

These aren't just for kids. In fact, I'd say they're better suited for adults who bring their own lunch to work. They hold a ton of food and are really nice for when you want to have a salad, sandwich, and then use the dividers for cheese/dressing/condiments.

I paid more than twice this on Amazon, so it's a good deal, especially if you're ordering other Woot! items or have a coupon to offset shipping.

Hi does anyone know if liquid items, like salad dressing, in the divided container will leak into each other or if each section will remain seperate if tipped?

Thanks for the Amazon link.
Here's a direct link to a photo of the compartments filled with food.

It gives a good perspective on the size of the divided sections...

Here's a customer image from Amazon which claims that honey from one of the divided sections didn't spill out to the rest of the container:

Well, you could but it'd be grape juice by the time you were done.

Forget the kids, I'm getting one for me! This size bento is perfect if you are trying to cut calories. It has the correct proportion for protein, grain, and then enough room for a hearty salad. Now if only if didn't error out when I try to order.

Signatures are harshing my mellow.

Is there room in there for an ice pack? The photos make it look like there wouldn't be a spot to store any sized ice pack.
How is that going to keep cold food cold while my kids are waiting for lunch?

Can we get the measurements for a box? I'd like to see if they'd fit in the bags we already have.
