Can anyone come up with a reason (or a fix for) why the keyboard isn't working very well in Yahoo mail? It skips letters and and has long pauses between key strokes. I can type in Word okay. And Twitter. And Facebook.

I'm going to say it's lag with Yahoo. They've got some kind of code issue - probably in their autosave that is causing lag and making it look like your kdyboard isn't working.

Banana Boat: Fourth and Goal is live. I reposted the rules from the last thread and realized they are rather vague, if you want stricter rules that reflect the way people have been playing I can write them.


Sorry I haven't been around a lot. Orc's game that he worked on a year and a half ago has severed from facebook this week and there are lots of new players and I'm still a mod there. Busy time, sorta like a woot-off, except I'm all alone - mostly.

I don't know what's going on. I cleaned out the trash and the send files. That didn't help. Tried to get McAfee to run a full scan. Both times it quit at about 51%. ???? It did find one virus and fixed it. However, now it's working. But I don't know what to do about McAfee.

have you tried cleaning out your browser cache and cookies?

if you're feeling a bit ambitious, you could try reading this web page and following the suggestions. or wait until t-thighs can talk you through it.

No idea why it quit before. The first time at 52%, the second at 51%. Actually, didn't quit. Was going incredibly slow. As son as I rebooted, I uninstalled Wootylyzer. It was acting odd. It'd just suddenly start.

Your computer was possibly out of resources. The reboot may have freed enough up to run the scan.

that's probably your hard drive (long term memory). i suspect ktc is referring to ram (short term memory). anyhoo, mabe run the virus scan overnite with no wootalyzer...?
