good morning everybody! daughter's first apt is at 8;15. shower time. if we get finished with evetything by noon I will head back to the beach. I am listening to a sandra brown mystery. it makes the drive seem so much faster.

So you went from one puking to two in quarantine. Not fun! At least you have a reason to stay in out of the smoke.

Yeah one of the one's with hand foot and mouth is the one that most recently puking. The other one that had flu symptoms is the only one still rash free.

Early symptoms were masked by the smoke (they showed up on the worst smoke days - headache, sore throat, etc.)

I'm not sure how wide spread it is, but having had my kids in daycare since 2005 - it comes around a lot!

I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to watch it. Benedict Cumberbatch does such a great job and reminds me so much of my first boyfriend (and childhood best friend) in his portrayal of Sherlock that, well.... it's just too much of a stacked deck for me to truly appreciate anyone else as Sherlock.

Captions are your friend. The only downside is occasionally they blow a punch line.

Thank you. I think I made a good spousal choice.I bought her a good stainless cooking set when I married her.(That was her choice). I bought it in Canada and schlepped it all the way here.

Also, I watched Elementary last night and enjoyed it very much. I definitely needed the "captions ON" due to the fact that Sherlock spoke very quickly and with a Limey accent [I wish the British could speak English as well as we Americans - joke]. I haven't watched a good tv murder mystery since Peter Falk's "Colombo" series in the 70's.
