That's a whole lot of BAND-AIDS. Does anyone have any stories to share from a previous purchase of a ton of bandages?

yes, but i didn't buy them from woot.

seriously, having a lot of fun bandaids is great: you should have them in your purse and tuck a few in a wallet if you don't carry a purse. I'm always that person who had a bandaid (and a box kept in the car), and, if you want to reward a child for a good deed, or kindness, or just to be sweet, giving them a few festive bandaids does the trick without calories, rotting their teeth or spoiling their appetite.

Yep! Bought them during the last Woot-Off for the wife. Bought 3 (18 boxes) naturally, so we have boxes everywhere. Even put them in the first aid kits at work, and hid the plain ones. *evil laugh*

In for 3 more, naturally!

Wait a second. You're a woman? All this time. Oh wow. I haven't been paying attention very well have I?

I was just telling myself, I'm going to need a first Aid Kit, I hope woot puts them up for sale soon... Almost there. Not quite though.

There's a very good chance that if you put these on your kids, they'll go around asking strangers if they'd like to see their Pooh.

Every time we sell bandages, I remember the computer game my son played when he was little: Richard Scarry's Busy Town. In Dr Diane's office, you could put a bandage on the elephant. The game said "I'll put a bandage on it. That'll make it all better." in this weird accent.

We still say that to this day when we need to get a bandage.

I do adore what YOU post. And how you do it, in your most pleasant fashion. next time they post the silverware, can you post a pic of LUNT sterling Elequence pattern and say "this is lstaff's childhood sterling"?? thanks.

PS, wanna hear something really funny along the lines of me confusing everyone?

My 3 year old needs a band-aid for everything. One day she said she had a headache and needed a band-aid on her forehead. I'm in for 3. That ought to last a month or two.

Hah! My three year old says the same thing. At times his head, toe, even teeth (!) hurt and require the two miracle cures... A kiss and a bandaid.

I bought Three Of These the last time they went up.

Someone mentioned it last time that Parents love bandaids. That thought never crossed my mind before but it turns out it's 100% true. Cute/Cool designs just make them even better. They're great for a cheap bonus gift for kids. Include these with a gift for a kid, Parents and Kid will love you lots.

And the usual trivia question for this product. Who wrote the jingle?

History of the Band-Aid bandage anyone?

I know the answer, and I gave a hint earlier, but I edited it out. I might re-post it later if I have time and nobody gets the answer.

As a teacher, it's a lot easier to pass out a bandaid than to send students to the nurse for papercut-level medical emergencies. My 7th graders think cartoon bandaids are cute; my 8th graders wear them with an ironic world weariness. Everybody wins.

Mr Barry Manilow, who also wrote the "Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there" jingle among others which didn't hit the mark as well as these two.

I was in for three sets of the pop art Band-Aids. The Kid LOVES them. She has a box in her play doctor kit, he daycare got a few boxes, the school got a few boxes, every first aid kit in each car got a box. Band-Aids don't have an expiration date!

I saw this deal last night and immediately thought 'that's a lot of bandaids,' but I was still thinking about buying since we have toddler boys in the house. I hesitated since the flat shipping rate always makes me buy more than we need.

Well, a quick hike at a local trail this morning yielded scuffs and scratches for EVERYONE, which has never happened before!

So, in for 2, since Woot sent me a sign.
