I thought about this because I love Dr Seuss, but Amazon reviewers say all the pieces fit together, right or wrong, so you have to solve it by the picture, not the shape. It sounds confusing for little kids using trial & error to find the right piece.

It's $9.99 for 2 today, but I'm not sure what the price was at the previous woot April 3:

I got a different set for my grandkids on the last woot. I like them, even the fact that they all fit together, it creates a very imaginative picture. Then, if you want to be conventional, you focus on the picture!

The best advice offered on the last woot was to help smaller kids out by putting most of the puzzle together and letting them work with just a couple of pieces and gradually build up to the full puzzle.

It was the same price. Cat in the Hat and The Lorax.

I'm in for 2... after seeing this weekends imgur post (http://imgur.com/a/HgZZF) showing a high school grad who's father took the "Oh, the places you'll go!" book and had all of her teachers (from kindergarten through high school) write in it each year... and gave the book to her at graduation... That's a pretty powerful gift I think.

So... I have in my head, this puzzle could be similar, have a teacher, or family member, or friends, write on the back of each puzzle piece. Perhaps not as a hs grad gift, but could be cool as a baby shower gift/activity.

Plan for one of mine, a 48 page scrap book. 1 piece on each page, with a photo from the month... for the first 4 years of my 'next' child's life. Write on the piece a significant change or event for that month. A cool gift for a 4 year old, nice memento for Mom.

I found this to be true. Also the edges are weirdly sharp. My daughter cut her finger on a puzzle piece.

Wow...what a great idea. Having teachers write something as you go along is genius. Thanks for the suggestion!
