This is the first woot I've actually bought, but I didn't pay tax. If you did (and you're not just referring to the shipping), it might be because of the state you're in? And they clearly wouldn't know that until they get your billing address.

It may have something to do with the fact that one of the first big victims of the dot com bubble was pets.com. Investors lost hundreds of millions of dollars. If I recall correctly, Amazon was one of those investors. Since then people have been a little gun-shy about anything online related to pets.

If you were to hang motivational posters on the inside, this would be the perfect tool to train little drones for the corporate rat race. Remember kids, there's no I in TEAM, but there's also no U in profits.

In for two. I'm sure these will help keep the kids entertained this summer so I don't completely lose my mind.

They call it a maze but I only see one path.
Still looks like fun though.
I wonder if my wife will let me get one now for the kids we will have one day. Nothing wrong with being prepared, right?

Wow, I wish I had the $$$ for 3 of these so I could fill the den up with a maze for the 3 year old's birthday party!

My niece and nephew had one of these and they never got tired of it - my brother finally got tired of stepping around/over/on it!

I got the Buzz lightyear Playhut ship last Black Friday from woot. My 11 month old doesn't play with it much yet, but it seems appropriate for her as long as we watch her. Sometimes she loves it, others she's afraid to go through the tunnel without some reassurance.

The material is a little thin, and I'm sure in her later toddler years, we'll wear through the fabric and the wires will pop through. I still think its worth it though.

I'm totally getting this set today, it looks like the perfect space station to dock up to. ;-) The openings look the same - with four Velcro strips and loops so you can change the layout - so I'd guess the two playsets are compatible.

Can you attach the tunnels to each other to make one long one?? I also was going to add ball pit balls to a cube, will they hold them in or just fall out? My son loves tents and tunnels and hiding and I was going to get him the ewonderworld tent w. 60inch tunnel for his 1st birthday next month and this looks like it might be more fun...TIA

Yes, we've done the long tunnel. Works fine. Also the ball pit thing- you can flip one of the cubes upside down so the entrance holes are closer to the top and put some ball-pit balls in. I'd recommend trying to put at least one of the cube's openings against a wall or something so the little one isn't able to throw balls out every which way. Unless you REALLY enjoy singing the "Clean-up" song over and over...

ETA- the possibilities are really endless with this set. I've made it into a big triangle structure, which was a fun change. And we usually throw a blanket over one or two cubes to make it more "fort" like.

I wouldn't recommend it unless you're really short. I'm 5'5" found it pretty difficult to get into.

We got this in a previous woot offering, and it has been a big hit with our kids and their friends. A few notes:

1) I really question getting this for cats. While it's held up to our kids pretty well, I'm pretty sure that a cat's claws would demolish it pretty quickly.

2) You assemble it by running pieces of velcro on one piece through a loop on the adjacent piece. It's a bit awkward when you're first figuring it out, but a snap after that. I believe that every piece has velcro, so you can attach the pieces any way you wish (two tunnels together, two cubes together, a tunnel out the top of a cube).

I believe if you're in a state that charges tax and you put "TAXSUCKS" as the coupon code, you'll get 5% off.

I bought one. The baby is learning to crawl. This should take him hours to navigate.

Ikea recalled a similar item because the steel wire frames could break and cause sharp wire ends to stick out of the tent fabric.

There is a similar product made by the same company that has 10 positive reviews on amazon. One reviewer remarked on the durability of them, even after her toddler squished them several times: http://www.amazon.com/PlayHut-10005-82R-Playhut-Ultimate-Safari/product-reviews/B001B0SOI8/ref=cm_cr_dp_qt_see_all_top?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1&sortBy=bySubmissionDateDescending

we have had this exact thing in our house for about two years. At first Lil Miss wasn't so into it because the "pieces" are a lot bigger than it looks (actually our three cats could care less about it because its not much different than the dining room table for hiding under)

its made with flexible wire so it collapses into flat circles when you put it away and pops back very easily.

The best part is when we cover it with bedsheets - instant fort/tent for her. The fabric is so sheer light goes right through it otherwise and I think kids like teh isolated feeling of partial darkness. So be prepared to have to sacrifice some leftover sheets or tablecloths. Because she and her friends had little interest until we did that.

Oh and yeah we paid $40 for it at Target. It was on SALE.

It's recommended for ages 3 and up. For those who have kids, what's the youngest that you think a kid would enjoy this? Obviously I would crawl through it with her, I mean, I would supervise her closely...

A friend of mine has a similar play set. Our boys are both about 18 months and love it!

My 18 month old loves these as long as there's no older sibling to trample or scare him.

I'm a nanny. The family I work for has this and it's fabulous! Keeps the kids entertained for hours on end. The youngest was 1 when they first got these cubes and he loved going in alone when his older sister was at school. With the holes on the top of the cubes, you can easily keep an eye on little ones, and the material is easy to clean when necessary. IF they weren't sold out, I'd get them another set to add on to the maze!

Heh, nice.

In our continued efforts to improve shipping, we use a variety of shipping methods such as drop shipping (direct from vendor) and Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA). When using FBA, we instruct our vendor to deliver the product to one or more fulfillment centers from which the product will then be shipped. Please note that we are not part of the Prime or Super Saver Shipping program.
