Got two of these with the nunchucks about a year ago. Use rechargeable AAs in them and they work great. They feel a little different than the nintendo brand controllers, but they work very well for such a good price. Great if you need those extra two controllers for 4 person matches :-)
From Deals.Woot!
Bought three of them the previous time they were around. Just so you guys are clear, this does NOT have Wii Motion Plus built in although some of their other models do. They aren't bad. Totally worth the price. GO FOR IT!
These generally go for $25.99, and I've seen them on sale for as low as $9.99. This is easily the best price I have seen for this product. http://www.amazon.com/INTEC-Black-Wii-Wave-Plus-Nintendo/dp/B003HAW1XY http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Intec+-+Wii+Wave+Remote/9921951.p?id=1218195773456&skuId=9921951 and http://www.gbestdeals.com/deal/Intec-Wii-Wave-Motion-Sensing-Remote-999-Shipped-Woot-0449269bbaa7349f9b67174eb7fed31f (silly me- the $9.99 is still woot)
Regurgitating my comment from woot-off a few days ago: Froogle and Best Buy: $19.99, no reviews http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Intec+-+Wii+Wave+Remote/9921951.p?id=1218195773456&skuId=9921951
FYI - This Wii remote does not have motion plus built in.
I just got these shipped a few days ago in from the last time they were on deals.woot. They work fine and are fairly accurate. In comparison to a Wii Motion+'s accuracy, I'd rate it perhaps 95% which would be completely fine for almost everybody. Although, there is a feel of delay in the controller compared to a Wii Motion+. When I waved up my Intec compared to the Motion+ I found a kind of like a 3ms delay? The buttons are a little harder to push, and they kind of feel like those 3rd party controllers that would have a problem with a button getting stuck. On other note: If wiimotes can be at this price, why can't we find any nunchuks at this price woot?
2 questions: 1) Will these fit the longer rubber sleeves WITH the motion plus attachment? 2) Will these fit inside the buck hunter gun accesory that I purchased from Woot earlier this year?
Does anyone know how well these work on a PC?

They do, if the Deals site counts: http://deals.woot.com/deals/tagged/nunchuk
I just bought one from Sellout, and I've been trying to hook it up to my PC via bluetooth. I'm not sure if I should blame the remote, because I have a pretty crappy bluetooth dongle, but so far it's a no-go. My computer recognizes the bluetooth connection, but I can't get any Wiimote software to recognize it.

How about a Mac?

I bought a knockoff wiimote that was very shady, but only $8 and had the same problem. Connected to the Wii fine, and bluetooth was working fine, but other software was a no go. It has something to do with the hardware, but I don't know what. I'm assuming that this one is the same deal and won't work.
while the great MotionPlus™ Debate was being argued in here, I solved the matter by reading the bulleted features on the homepage: ●Compatible with Wii Motion Plus Dongle (Dongle not included)
If they all hover like the one in the picture, then IN 4 3!!!!!!! ...do they?

I bought three of these when they were on sellout.woot a while back. I haven't actually played the Wii with them yet, but I did test fit them. Granted I haven't tried every conceivable accessory - and I don't have the buck hunter gun - but they *do* fit the Wii Wheel perfectly. I was actually pleasantly surprised that they fit the wheel, because when you first get them they look smaller than the regular Wii remotes. I haven't tried a wii motion plus on one yet. The dimensions are such that I don't expect any problem with fitting it.
Anyone tried this with Smoothboard?
I will confirm it does fit the Buck Hunter gun, which is the reason I purchased these. I did play it and it functions the same as the Nintendo version controllers. I didn't try the longer rubber sleeve, but it does fit the smaller one (the clear one that came with the Wii). Didn't put a lot of use on any of them, but I fired all three of them up and they all worked and I was able to sync them with the Wii. They even came with instructions to sync, which I had never actually done it the right way in the past but had managed to sync them up after multiple tries instead of actually reading the manual. When I followed the included instructions it only took one shot.

I'm curious too. I've had great success with a Nintendo Wii Remote paired with smoothboard. I'm curious if this one has as good of IR camera? Anyone?
I'd have to assume it'd work like any Wiimote on a PC; in other words, fine depending on your Bluetooth driver.
I also got this on a previous woot, and it works just as well as the real deal. It fits just fine in our MarioKart wheel and RockBand guitar. My only beef is that the built-in speaker sounds terrible.

I bought these from the Deals.Woot sale a few weeks back. IMO, the speaker is more or less the same quality as the ones in the 'official' Wii remotes.
I've tested other 3rd party Wiimotes with smoothboard and they didn't work. If these are confirmed to work I might buy a few.
can someone explain the difference between this and a regular wii nintendo remote? i don't really understand anything about motion sensor anything haha pardon my ignorance
Okay I'm showing my ignorance here, but why would you want to hook a Wii remote to a PC or bluetooth? Do they work for PC games? Or are you trying to play Wii games dowloaded to a PC?

Excellent. Thanks for the feedback. I'm in for two!

I tried using these with Smoothboard and could not get them to work.. I must admit, this is the first time I've messed with bluetooth so it could entirely be my fault.. I tried with my built-in (Asus Laptop) and with a non-name brand dongle recommended from Penteractive.. (Their pen is very nicely made! I'm using their clamps, amazon generic CCTV ceiling mounts, and Smoothboard).. What worked for me is swapping my real WII remotes with the Intec ones.. I hardly ever play the Wii, so for me it's not a huge loss.. (Heck, I went from 2 wii remotes to 3 intec remotes, so I guess I gained a player...?).. Now, if someone can tell me how to get Smoothboard to recognize my 2nd Wii remote so I can get redundant camera coverage, that'd be fantastic.. Smoothboard says it supports it, but I can only get it to poll one remote.. It's no wonder I've been nicknamed MacGuyver at two schools I've worked at.. (And, when I worked in manufacturing and electronics, too..)

If you have some time to kill, try googling "hack wii remote", you'll see a variety of things people are doing. Fascinating.

I've had mine about a year now. Maybe it worsens with age, because last time I used it it sounded really garbled compared to the sound from the official remotes.
ffffffffff i actually needed another wiimote. need to start checking woot in the morning
Has anyone had issues syncing right out of the box?
