I'm pretty excited. I researched for 2 years and wrote a book. Failing to get noticed by the large NYC publishers, I decided to self-publish. I will be receiving my proof copy tomorrow. If all is good, then I'll order the printing. woo hoo!!

I just finished reading my kids a book called Wildwood. I was worried our 4 year old wouldn't have the patients to be interested in a book it was going to take me a month of bedtimes to read to them. But not only was the book great it had amazing vocabulary, all three of my children were drawn into the story like I have never seen before.

We listen to audiobooks in the car (mostly on trips, but I've been "finishing" stories at home in the car, even though we are seldom in the car for more than 10 mins). We just listened to A Wrinkle in Time, I'd pretty much completely forgotten the story.
