I find it interesting all the WWII planes have been grounded.
I think I'm getting into Heaven.

For any WWII buff, especially a 13 year old, these are pretty cool. I wish I had them back in the day. In for both sets. Can you say "The Final Countdown?"

Sorry it's a little late in the day to ad this tidbit. These models come from Japan originally. They come pre-painted but are still on the sprue, like a regular model kit. You will need a pair of nippers or an X-acto knife to cut them off and trim off any excess plastic left from the sprue. There are only a handful of pieces and they go together very well.
Plastic glue will work nicely but be warned that it can also ruin the paint job if you are sloppy. Super glue will work as well. However, again use caution when gluing the canopy in place. Super glue will frost the clear plastic if too much is used.
These are great models and have an amazing level of detail for their size. I used to own several of the WWII models to use for war gaming. I was paying $10+ a piece for them then. This is an amazing deal.
