Tot Sauce: Be a Good Sport

by Amy Nance

I participated in quite a few extra-curricular activities when I was a kid. Sometimes my parents came to watch. Sometimes they didn't. But when they did show up, they stayed in the bleachers. They didn't run onto the field and scold me for doing this or not doing that. They didn't yell at the coach or opposing players, and they sure as heck didn't get into fist fights with other parents like these guys.

Speaking of coaches, did you see what this one did? Seriously, what is going on? What happened to good sportsmanship, win or lose? Things like this are completely appalling to me. What does this teach the kids? Grow up, grown-ups.

That is all. Please continue about your business.
