Hang on, kid. This one's gonna be a doozy.Mackenzie hid under the table while her mom prepared to feed her little brother Gavin in his First Years MiSwivel Feeding Chair and Booster. It's a good thing he was strapped into the adjustable 5-point harness, because he was about to embark on the ride of his life. Let's just say if they were at an amusement park, he definitely would not have met the height requirements.
It started off relatively tame. When Amanda went to retrieve Gavin's bottle out of the warmer, Mackenzie swiveled the chair from one side to the other and then back again. Gavin hardly seemed to notice that he was moving. Then when her mom stepped over to the fridge to get a jar of baby food, Mackenzie swiveled a little faster. Gavin giggled a little and smacked his hands on the sturdy feeding tray.
But when Amanda was distracted by the task of finding a baby spoon in the crowded and disorganized utensil drawer, that's when the real fun began. Mackenzie swiveled even faster this time, stopping suddenly now and then to lock the chair into one of the seven positions before unlocking it and starting to swivel again. Gavin clapped his hands every time the chair jerked to a stop and then squealed with glee when it started to swivel again.
Mackenzie reclined the seat into the flattest of the five positions, and made a clicking noise like a roller coaster climbing a hill as she notched the seat back up one position at a time. After a momentary pause, Mackenzie quickly reclined it again and Gavin's eyes widen as he suddenly flew backwards in the seat. Back up again he went, belly laughing as he swiveled back and forth a few more times. Mackenzie brought the chair to a sudden stop just as Amanda found the spoon and returned to the table.
"What are you laughing about, silly boy?" said Amanda as she sat down in a chair in front of Gavin. He giggled a little more and clapped his hands happily, just before spitting up all over himself, the feeding tray, and his mother.
Mackenzie snickered from under the table and snuck out quietly as Amanda mopped up the mess.
