I bought 3 of these last time. My niece and I haven't broke these out yet, but I know she's going to love it. At this great price I'm buying 3 more for Toys For Tots.

These paints wont dry up in the next year will they?

I have time for one link and two questions:

link--previous woot;
http://kids.woot.com/Forums/ViewPost.aspx?PostID=4944534

questions: Dann, was it $2.99 then too?
Notice the foreign letters on the Cars picture?

Back to work. G'night.

which each cost $2.99
for a subtotal of $8.97
plus shipping + $5.00
minus discount - $5.00
for a total of $8.97

Same Cost! Thanks for stopping by WhatsamattaU. I'm catchin up! By this time next year I'll be where you are today if not ahead of you

This was actually the last thing I bought on kids.woot too.

How thick is the canvas? Could it be stuck on the fridge with some glued on magnets? Half of the fun of these is regifting the finished product to a loved one to display.

Edit: Just went downstairs and measured, they're about a half inch thick. The quality is way better than what I expected, I'm definitely buying 3 of these each time woot sells them (please don't sell out I need more to donate to toys for tots)

That's because it's Cars 2, that one took place in Japan (so I've been told, I think that's the one pixar film i'll never get around to watching unless one of you goobers convince me otherwise)

FLY NAVY!!!

great idea @CowboyDann with Toys for Tots; I think I'll copy you...

Exactly right--I'm buying for the fun of painting these myself and presenting them to a pair of sisters who will go gaga over Disney fairies and Mrs. Tiana. I WOULD just give them to the kids to destroy for themselves, but the (dormant) artist in me won't stand for it.

“Which one of us is the parent again, Mom?” Ella said sarcastically.

Ella's got a pretty advanced grasp of English for a two year old.

Not sure if this will convince you or not, but only a short sequence of the story takes place in Japan. I have had to watch it several times because my sons are Cars fanatics, but even so consider it to be just as good or even better than the original. There are a lot of James Bond, and European car racing reference jokes for the adults that have made it quite bearable

Was going to ask about the age group for this, then saw the link for how to remove paint from clothes and carpets. Since the instructions were more than "throw 'em in the wash," I figure the bounds would exclude my preschooler.

I bought these for my grandaughter last time. She is 5 and loved them!! Buy more than one, shipping is only $5 no matter how many you order.

These are a steal. The paint and paint brush quality is better than I expected.(still no expert series, but good enough for kids.)

In for 3 again. These are great to stock up on for those preschool bday parties you kid gets invited to. Or on a rainy day with your kid(s).

In for Toy Story and Cars for my grandson's sixth birthday. I wish I could be there to paint them with him!

Since my younger two kids don't really have the grasp of painting yet, I'm going to paint these canvases for them to hang in their rooms. They love to see Mommy's artwork, and this one is an awesome little project for us to do together and have some artwork for their walls.

Even nicer with that coupon

Thanks Offgridmanpolktn, I might give it a shot then, japan wasn't the thing that was putting me off. I gotta admit I did get choked up a little bit when lightning mcqueen hit the brakes to go back and help out the king. So maybe I'll get around to watching the second one. I just didn't care for the first one as a whole.

I think TT put it best last time so I'll just copy her:

You can catch up, I'm still in mourning/cleaning up details, on top of too much work, so I can't do as much/often here, but I was averaging about 160 a year over 3+ years. Get one a day, and you'll probably pass me, and some days I got 4 or 5 Blaster's in the past. The real goal is to pass Nightghost's 1910 Blaster's, I think, and he certainly could get close to 10 posts on his best 24 hour stretches across the woot sites.

I was asking the price so that we can record and compare if this comes up again. That's why I post price for future reference on anything other than the main woot site when I remember.

I still might buy, but the parent(s) I was thinking to buy for was hesitating when I offered to buy. Charity/Toys for Tots is a good idea regardless. Bye.

The shipping discount code is from being an awesome guy or gal on the deals.woot site. Nobody knows how you get them, they just choose a random thing to award you for and if you did that in the month you get a coupon.
