on a side note, aren't they ALL magical stories? I guess for that off chance that you have no idea if these stories are in fact magical, they have stated this fact on each book. :/

I don't know about you but for my nieces birthday the tradition is to donate a book or two to the class library. Even if your child's class doesn't do this, 12 books for 35 dollars isn't bad at all, and could make a lot of kids happy on their birthday.

My daughter always wants to go to Disneyland.
These books probably aren't going to keep her from asking, but at least they'll keep her away from the disney blu rays.

My wife woots too

I'm in for all of them! My daughter loves Disney stories. We already have Peter Pan, but we'll just gift that one to a little friend. Very excited to have so many beautiful for such a great price!

In for all three. My daughter is obsessed with books and Disney and for the price, you just can't beat it. She's going to be thrilled!

I think what really makes me happy about this selection of books is that aside from Aladdin they don't have any princesses (we have plenty of those books).

Good deal! *just looked it up* They are normally 4.99 each. In for all 3 sets!

I've been to Disneyland in CA. AWESOME! If they sold these books at the park, which I am not sure they do because I stayed far, far away from most of the shops, they'd be at least $20 each easily. So, "Thank you," Woot! I want to be in for all 3, but have a couple of questions.

devindouglas

quality posts: 3 Private Messages devindouglas

1. Are these books are as easy to read as all the Leapfrog Tag Reader books?

2. Are they larger or smaller than the Tag Reader books? Both words and book size.

3. Do these come in cases so my house doesn't end up looking like the children's book section at Barnes and Noble?

Oh, and thanks for not filling this collection with Disney Princesses.

For those asking about the size, this Amazon link appears to be the same product and says they are about 9 X 7 inches. Nice size for small children and padded, too. Hardcover - more difficult to destroy but not so nice to sleep with (my kids were real book lovers).

Amazon has them for 4.99 ea (free shipping as well) which might make it seem like a better deal to get here at first @ $15 vs $20. However they also have these books included in their Special Offer called "Buy 4 for the price of 3". Which makes it exactly the same price.

On the other hand... not a great deal. Amazon has these as part of their 4-for-3 promotion so you could get four of them for $15.With Prime or free shipping by minimum purchase, this is the same price as woot.

Of course, if you buy all the available titles, you're better off here... The deal is back ON!

Just beat me to it pattybee!

12 Books...$35 bucks...
Brand new and all Disney...
guess I'm in for all THREE---make sure you choose all different packs!

My twin boys are being born next week...and by the time I really use these books will be all but obsolete...
but, still a good deal! LOL

IMHO, these will be books for you to read to her for another year or so. Then she'll be reading them on her own after that.

Am I doing my math wrong? $45 from Amazon vs $35 from woot?

Ordered all three packs; two of them showed up today. Now what? I haven't heard anything from Woot about running out and not being able to fill order, and no refund for the missing third in my paypal account. So who do I contact in this sort of situation or should I let it ride and wait for a second box to show up?

steve8479

I don't know about y'all, but mine showed up the next day. I got the tracking info in my inbox after my books came. Now, that's what I call past shipping.

Emailed support and they gave me a tracking number for the second package. Second pack arrived in short order on the following postal day. Don't know if they lost money on shipping, but they did right by me. Thanks Woot!
