Not sure whether to laugh or cry about the fact that my actual kitchen is pretty much the same size.

Seriously, the closest thing I ever had to a sharing, functional relationship was when I shared a kitchen like this with another 3 year-old. Helen, if you're out there, I'd be delighted to share my lunch with you.

Anybody use this outdoors? How does this hold up in an open air patio with a cover?

It's not that much cheaper on its face, but once you take shipping into account it's a pretty good deal. The reviews are pretty good as well.

This kitchen gets mediocre reviews on the Step 2 website (which also lists it as an exclusive to Walmart, who has it listed at $70 (but seemingly out of stock)). Amazon, through its partners, also offers this kitchen, for a variety of prices, trending around $80 plus shipping.

When we got a play kitchen, we went with a wood Kidcraft one and have been happy. This doesn't strike me as a great deal, price- or quality-wise.

I'm a blogger and part of a test drive program with Step2, so I regularly get sent products by them to test out. I have YET to find one that I don't like, especially when it comes to their play kitchens.

They are extremely durable, great for kids of all ages, come with a good amount of accessories(food, pots, and utensils), plus a a lot of them are gender neutral. I have a boy and a girl and they both love our kitchen.

Personally when it comes to these kinds of toys, I prefer the plastic to the wood, since plastic wont splinter, chip or stain and is easy to clean. Plus I don't believe you get any or as many accessories with the wooden kitchens.

All the Step2 products I've tried come with amazing directions and if you do run into an issue, their customer service is impeccable! I highly recommend any product from them but their play kitchens are def worth the investment! If I didn't already have 2 I'd be buying this one!

from my experience, it's held up wonderfully. we have one outside and one inside and we don't have a covered patio so ours is constantly subjected to the weather and sun. They are kind of light so if you have a big wind storm you may want to bring it in or put it in the garage, but other than that, ours has been fine!

Wondering how woot got a photo of my granddaughter to model photoshop into this picture. However you did it it's definitely working! MUST BUY

I LOVE that this is gender neutral. This would make a great addition to kindergarten/preschool play centers.

I like how the pictures point out that the Microwave is not actually capable of making soup. Saved myself from a misinformed purchase.

I have the earlier model - different stickers and slightly different layout - and it is great for the 2-4 year old crowd. If you're thinking of this as a x-mas present and live near a Walmart, they will certainly offer online deals for a nearly identical setup for $10-20 less in November or December. Free pick-up at store.

If you can't wait, this is good quality fun.

I wish my kitchen looked this cool. If only it 'twer functional...

I bought a similar one for my grandchildren a couple of years for Christmas. One warning - it took my husband and I hours to put this together. It comes in many, many pieces.

Yes, we didn't put the stickers on it so that we wouldn't have to worry about them getting ruined. We saved them in case we ever want to move it inside to play with

I concur. The one we have is actually third hand from cousins who picked it up from a garage sale in the first place. It has held up wonderfully. We keep it out on the enclosed porch most of the time, but sometimes totally outside in the elements.

forever fighting the urge to buy something just because it is cheap and cool...wait, it's cheap and cool, let me click that big yellow button!
