My only problem with ANY r/c copter is it takes soo long to charge one for so little play time.

That is the flybar. The gyro is an electronic component. You are right in that the flybar does help stabilize the heli.

Oops, I was told these didn't have a real gyro, and that the flybar was the gyro. After a little research, it seems you're correct. Thanks for the clarification.

Its not. I have 2 S107G's and beat them to death, yet still work. 2 out of the 3 of these don't work out of the box. Charging issues. ughh....

Yeah, that's why I kept saying...stick with the original Syma S107.

It's just $20 on Amazon. And Syma really backs up their copters with a good supply of easy to find spare parts. I also did a little lightening mods to the toy and now it's insanely fast!

NNOOOOO..Well they sent me 2 different replacements and they are actually only 2(left, right, up/forward, down) way channel with a little fake propeller on the back. These new ones also don't have all of the lights. Now I just want my money back. Never again.
