Anyone know if this is better quality than the last one they had on here? My daughter is starting to get into drawing, painting, etc....not sure if this would be a good thing to pick up for her or not
What!? It does not come with scissors to cut off your year! What a rip off.
seems an awesome deal for a little artist.

This looks to be a kit that's probably worth around $80-$100 on Amazon. The box looks pretty good (it's dovetailed) but the handle/strap looks like it might pull off if you fling the case around. Nice selection of supplies. I'm a professional artist and I'm buying one for the box/supplies just to play around with. I've painted some beautiful paintings using the cheapest grade of oil and acrylics paints you can find. I would have loved this set if someone had bought it for me as a child.

I've had years I wouldn't mind cutting out of existence. :P

Thanks, you talked me into it. My daughter will love it for her birthday.

If the wooden box is unfinished when you get it, you can always make the box look nicer by putting a coat of varnish on it. It's hard to tell from the photos if the box is finished or not. But it's still a pretty nice-looking box. I used to use an huge fishing tackle box to haul all of my supplies around but it got to be too big/heavy for me.
