I love it when mine's detailed.

Well, another day has passed and I didn't use algebra once.

Evening all

wish y'all lived near me. My Dad's grapefruit trees have outdone themselves in production.

My neighbor and I went over 2 weeks ago - took at least 40, then last week took at least 20 more. I've been handing grapefruit out to everyone.

As someone who isn't the biggest fan of them, these were actually good!

I used to do it yearly with other cars. Never have with this car. No idea why. There's a guy down the street with his own business in back of a gas station. Might use him. I can walk home and back.

I get mine done every couple of months. Body shop cleaned it pretty good, so I'll wait a while before getting it done. Might clean a few of the spots they missed inside.

Outside will be a mess when this rain is over.

Last one I had detailed was like $175. I'll probably put it off until I get this car bill paid down some.

Morning wootland!

inkycatz wrote:Got my nails done Sunday.

(Official pic, not my nails)

I'm not sure what color they are because they keep changing. First I think they're green, then pink, then purple... it's a little distracting.

ooohhh... how does it look when painted on a flat surface vs. a curved nail? Do the purple and green mix, or does the whole surface appear one color depending on the angle you're looking at it?

Someday, if I can only scrape together the cash, I want to get a custom electric violin with a green/purple on black finish much like this.

I have no idea! I will hunt down a flat something at lunch to polish. Tried to take a picture last night while I was out, and it doesn't photograph (for me) nearly as well as that picture.

All I know for sure is that despite playing with twistie ties and pliers and holiday lights last night (there's a post for home.woot coming about that I think if I can get it done at some point this week), the manicure held up.

Fairly brisk and busy morning so far, so good morning everyone!

I'm just hanging out, really.

only if they notice.

I've only paid for car detailing once... just after our second kid. best money ever spent on the car. I figure if they don't ask, no need to tell, and besides they've probably dealt with worse before...

That is the number 1 reason I wanted to make it to the hospital. Then I've already paid for room service, as it were.

Part of the deal when we bought my van was that they would detail it regularly since they guaranteed no stains on the carpet or upholstery for 7 years. They don't always get all the little nooks, but it looks darn good for having three car seats strapped in the middle.

I'm sure it's similar to the color shifting paint of the same nature.

Hi, everyone. Have lost the display on my netbook. I hear the thing boot up, but I cannot shut it down properly. I have just pushed the off button one time too many, I think, because now it just beeps a deep sound at me. Battery appears to be OK. Also tried it without battery with electric power. All that I get is a gray screen. Any ideas anyone? It is my only woot purchase that was dead on arrival - sent it out to Asus and it was returned in working condition. Have had it about a couple of years, I think - no problems until lately. It does have some personal information on it, so I don't want to just dump it before I can get it swept clean. I was thinking of running over it with my car - backward and then forward. Should handle the problem I would surmise.

Other than that, beautiful day here. Saw a wonderful show last evening - acrobats without bones apparently. Called Cirque de Dreams - not a part of cirque de soleil which I had thought it might be. Fantastic stuff though.

There are a few things you can do, one is to hook it up to a external screen via the VGA port. You can also remove the hard drive and get the information off that way. You could also open it up and see if there are any loose cables. There is no need to run it over with the car. Send me a PM or email if you need any help.

Still single, can't imagine why.
